Productivity Alberta presents an interactive workshop on lump sum contracting in the Western Canadian oil and gas industry.
According to Alberta’s industrial players, contracting strategy is a critical factor in the improvement of project delivery, and project owners are using lump sum contracts more often.
Lump sum contracts are seen by many as a potential path to success in the execution of large projects. But what does this mean to you?
Join Dr. George Jergeas, PEng and Jacqueline O’Toole, PEng to learn about the findings from their recent study on lump sum contracting in Alberta’s energy sector and provide your feedback and recommendations to the report’s authors on that will help shape future work in this area.

Workshops were held in Edmonton on December 6, 2010 and Calgary on December 10, 2010. Each was very well attended with 70 people in each location.
